The two institutions have agreed that they will formalize an agreement to articulate training, dissemination actions, guides and tools that facilitate local entities to comply with the regulations on transparency and move forward in this area.
The Council’s Deputy Director General for Claims of Autonomous Communities and Local Entities, José Manuel Jover, and the Presidential Adviser, Enrique Orduña Prada, also participated in the meeting.
The Council, in addition to resolving the claims on the right of access to public information directed against the General Administration of the State and the State agencies, is responsible for processing and resolving the claims on requests for information addressed to the autonomous and also local administrations of those CC.AA. that have attributed to it the exercise of this competence by agreement (Asturias, Baleares, Cantabria, Extremadura, La Rioja, Ceuta and Melilla).
