The Council of Transparency and Good Governance is structured in a Presidency, on which several governing bodies depend, and in the Committee on Transparency and Good Governance.
The Commission is a collegiate consultative body chaired by the person holding the Presidency of the Council for Transparency and Good Governance, and in which various State bodies and institutions are represented. Approving the annual report of the Council, proposing the adoption of recommendations, guidelines or guidelines on transparency and the right of access to public information and reporting on State regulatory projects related to these matters are some of its functions.
The Commission is regulated in the article 36 Law 19/2013, of 9 December, on transparency, access to public information and good governance Article 15 et seq. of Royal Decree 615/2024, of 2 July, approving the Statute of the Council of Transparency and Good Governance.
