This was agreed by the President of the Council, Concepción Campos, and the President of the Authority, Manuel Villoria, at a meeting held today at the headquarters of the AIPI in Madrid.
This guide will be particularly useful in a context in which there is a continuous increase in claims regarding the right of access to information on files derived from Law 2/2023. In this regard, both institutions have stressed the importance of providing common criteria that provide legal certainty and guide the actions of public employees who must manage this type of access request.
The meeting, which was also attended by the CTBG by the advisory spokesperson Enrique Orduña and, by the AIPI, the director of the Department of Follow-up and Sanctions Regime, Teresa de Jesús Sánchez and the director of Cabinet, Ignacio Sáez, also highlighted the need for institutional collaboration in strengthening the culture of information as a mechanism to prevent and detect threats to the public interest and the strengthening of the integrity infrastructures of the organizations.
