Portal of the General State Administration: Slight improvement in compliance with transparency obligations
- With a Mandatory Information Compliance Index (ICIO) of 75%, the General Administration of the State recorded an increase of 2.1 percentage points, compared to the year 2021.
- This improvement is based on compliance, in 21.73% of the recommendations made by the Council of Transparency and Good Governance in its evaluation of 2021.
Madrid, June 07, 2022.- The Council of Transparency and Good Governance (CTBG) has just published the report with the following comments: results del compliance with the recommendations carried out by the CTBG to the General Administration of the State in 2021, as well as the degree of fulfilment of active publicity obligations.
In particular, the CTBG has assessed compliance with the 23 recommendations which it had formulated in relation to specific aspects of the AGE Portal, such as: the location and structuring of the information, the publication of contents and the fulfillment of quality attributes in the publication of the information. The Council concludes in its report that the General State Administration has implemented the 21.73 % of the same, which has led the AGE to place its transparency index in a 75%, improving in some 2.1 percentage points The one registered in 2021.
The Council Rate the effort positively that are being carried out by the managers of the Transparency Portal of the AGE with the aim of improving its organization and contents, and recognise the difficulties which entails undertaking a thorough review of it in order to incorporate all the recommendations made, given that, as has been alleged, the huge volume of information and actors involved, requires a high level of cooperation and consensus. However, this Independent Authority reiterates the need to implement the recommendations made in 2021 as a means of achieving the level of transparency required by the LTAIBG.
