Gonzalo Gómez de Villalobos has been appointed Deputy Director General of Transparency and Good Governance of the Council of Transparency and Good Governance (CTBG), replacing Ana Mercedes Cablelud Hernando, who becomes an advisory member of the State Secretariat for the Civil Service.
Gómez de Villalobos holds a degree in Law from the Complutense University of Madrid and a career officer from the Superior Corps of Civil Administrators of the State. Since 2015, he has worked in the CTBG, first as deputy assistant director general in the Subdirectorate General of Transparency and Good Governance and since 2018 as director of the Council’s Territorial Administration Complaints Office.
José Manuel Jover Lorente replaces him as director of the Territorial Administrations Complaints Office, graduated in Law from the University of Salamanca and a career officer in the Higher Legal Staff of the Autonomous Community of Extremadura. Among other positions, he has been General Counsel of the Junta de Extremadura between 2015 and 2023. Since January 2024, he has held the position of an advisory member at the CTBG.
