The president of the Council of Transparency and Good Government (CTBG), José Luís Rodríguez Álvarez, held yesterday in Toledo a meeting with the president of the Regional Council of Transparency and Good Government of Castilla-La Mancha (CRT), Fernando Muñoz Jiménez. This institutional meeting, in which the deputies of the CRT, Elena Carrasco and María Jesús Villaverde, also participated, is part of the objectives established in the strategic plans of both institutions to enhance collaboration between the different bodies that guarantee transparency.

The meeting analyzed the problems currently faced by both bodies to guarantee the right of citizens to access public information and shared several recent initiatives aimed at strengthening the transparency of public administrations. It also explored the possibility of institutionalizing a space of cooperation between the different councils and transparency commissioners that allows the regular exchange of experiences and good practices and provides greater visibility to their actions.
