The Faculty of Legal and Economic Sciences of the Universitat Jaume I hosts until September 27 this meeting in which representatives of the academic world, the Administration, the media and civil organizations will analyze key issues on transparency, access to public information, accountability and open government.
In the X edition of the CIT More than 450 people from 18 countries have been registered, 334 of them face-to-face.

Wednesday, 24 September
- 16 hours. The President of the Council for Transparency and Good Governance, José Luis Rodríguez Álvarez, intervenes in the inaugural session of the congress, in which will also participate Cristina Pauner Chulvi, general secretary of the Jaume I University; Santiago Lumbreras Peláez, autonomous secretary of Institutional Relations and Transparency; María Tormo Casañ, deputy of Transparency of the Provincial Council of Castellón; Francisco Cabañero Catalán, councilor of the City of Castellón; Rosario García Mahamut, director of the Center for Political and Constitutional Studies; Manuel Villoria Mendieta, president of the Independent Authority of Protection of the Informant; and Manuel Cit.

The President of the Council, José Luis Rodríguez Álvarez, speaking in the plenary session: “Comparative Perspective of Transparency”, in which representatives of the Council for Transparency of Chile (CPLT), the Comissão de Acesso aos Administrative Documents (CADA) of Portugal, and the State Institute of Transparency, Access to Information and Protection of Personal Data of the State of Nuevo León (Mexico) (INFO.NL) also participate.

- 10:30 hours. The Council coordinates the plenary session “Main actions of the bodies guaranteeing transparency”.
