The Council was one of the driving institutions of the Network, within its strategic line of actively collaborating at the international level to promote the culture of transparency and advance the right of access to public information through cooperation and exchange of knowledge, experiences and good practices, and the adoption of common positions, also at the international level.
The CTBG is also part of the Executive Committee of the Network, which is currently chaired by Germany.
In today’s meeting, held telematically, they have been constituted within ENTRI Three working groups, to promote knowledge and collaboration in priority areas of common interest of all member institutions: Application of Artificial Intelligence to the management of the right of access to public information; Active transparency; and Privacy and Data Protection.
The next general assembly of the European Network for Transparency and Right to Information It will take place in the framework of the 17th edition of the International Conference of Information Commissioners (ICIC), held in Freetown, Sierra Leone, from 28 to 30 September 2026.
