SUMMARY

A citizen submitted a request for access to information addressed to the RTVE Corporation to know the rates of national and international collaborators of the CRTVE and the list of them, in the year 2017.

The CRTVE denied the information because it is protected by professional secrecy and affects the protection of personal data, as well as affecting their economic and commercial rights and having to carry out a prior reprocessing action to give the information.

The Council of Transparency and Good Governance considered this complaint in part, considering that it does not affect personal data, since its collaborators are freelancers or self-employed, nor does it affect their economic and commercial interests or commercial or professional secrecy. It is also not appreciated that having to order a series of data should be considered to rework the information. However, as they are not accurate for the purposes of transparency, it is agreed that the identification data of the collaborators will be eliminated.
