SUMMARY

A citizen submitted a request for access to information addressed to the Ministry of the Interior to know the reports prepared by the Secretary of State for Security on the duty of collaboration of the port police.

The administration denied the information because it understood that the request was not of public relevance.

When a complaint was filed, the Council for Transparency and Good Governance considered it, considering that the required documentation has legal and interpretative relevance to the right, which should be the subject of active publicity (art. 7 LTAIBG) and expresses the position of the issuing body.
