A citizen submitted a request for access to the information, addressed to the Ministry of Justice, to have access to the file of leave of an official.
The Ministry denied the request for not pursuing the purpose of public control established by Law 19/2013, of 9 December, on transparency, access to public information and good governance.
When a complaint was filed, the Council of Transparency and Good Governance rejected it, giving the Ministry reason, since the request for access seeks to inquire about the specific qualification of a natural person, which is contrary to the fundamental right to the protection of personal data.
