SUMMARY

A citizen submitted a request for information concerning the documentation related to the ANTAMA Foundation, registered in the Registry of Foundations. The information requested included the annual accounts, the founding act and a history of members of the Board.

After a period of one month to resolve without obtaining a response, the applicant filed a claim in which the Ministry of Justice considered that access to the requested information was regulated by a specific regulation and that the published information could only be accessed in a link to which the applicant was sent, where not all the required documentation was found.

In its resolution, the Council of Transparency and Good Governance understands that the regulation of the Registry of Foundations is not a specific regulation on access and that the Transparency Law is fully applicable.
