RCA198. Labour and Social Security Inspectorate. Contracts for surveillance, security and control services
SUMMARY
A citizen requested from the Labour and Social Security Inspectorate the file for contracting various tenders related to the service of surveillance, security and control of the facilities of various Provincial Inspectorates.
In its response, the Administration referred the applicant to the web page of the State Contracting Platform. It considered that the request, in referring to a high volume of information, was abusive and that, due to the nature of some of the information requested, its access could result in harm to economic and commercial interests.
When a complaint was filed, the Council of Transparency and Good Governance understood in its resolution that the information requested is related to the purpose of the transparency law and allows accountability in the use of public funds. Therefore, after identifying the specific documents that had that purpose, the complaint filed was partially estimated.
