SUMMARY

A citizen submitted a request for access to the Ministry of Agriculture, Fisheries and Food to obtain access to the disaggregated data of the active substances of the annual statistics of plant protection products from 2011 to 2018 distributed by year.

The Administration did not respond to the request for access.

The Council of Transparency and Good Governance rejected the complaint, given that we are dealing with information on environmental content, access to which is governed by its own specific regulations (the Law 27/2006, of 18 July, regulating the rights of access to information, public participation and access to justice in environmental matters) as follows from the second subparagraph, from the first additional provision, of the Transparency Act.
