A citizen submitted a request for access to information addressed to the National Securities Market Commission (CNMV) to know the content of the sanctioning file opened to the Banco Popular Español, S.A.
The CNMV did not respond to that request.
When a complaint was filed, the Council of Transparency and Good Governance considered it, since not all the information is subject to confidentiality, it does not affect personal data, nor professional secrecy. Neither does it prejudice the investigation of administrative wrongs nor the inspection, surveillance and control functions of the CNMV.
