7. Information about the Illustrious Madrid Bar Association
SUMMARY
A citizen, on behalf of and representing an association of lawyers, sent a letter to the Illustrious Madrid Bar Association in which he raised thirteen requests for information on different aspects of the collegiate activity.
The Madrid Bar Association did not respond to the request letter.
The Council of Transparency and Good Governance partially estimated the claim raised regarding that public information subject to Administrative Law, a premise that has been defined by the basic legislator to link the Public Law Corporations to the transparency law itself. The ICAM proposes an appeal against this resolution.
The Central Court of Administrative Litigation by judgment of February 23, 2018 dismissed the appeal filed by declaring the right of access to the information requested in the terms reasoned in the resolution of the Council of Transparency and Good Governance.
