A citizen refers a request for the right of access to public information to the Board of Communities of Castilla-La Mancha (Ministry of Development and Housing), by virtue of which he is interested in a grant that was granted but never paid. The citizen wants to know what finally happened with that subsidy.
In the absence of a response, the citizen presents a complaint to the Council of Transparency and Good Governance (CTBG). The CTBG considered in its resolution that the claim could not be admitted to processing, because public information was not the subject of its request and therefore, it was not covered by Law 19/2013, of 9 December, on transparency, access to public information and good governance.
Dissatisfied with the resolution issued, the claimant lodges a contentious-administrative appeal that has entry into the CTBG on October 16, 2019.
