SUMMARY

A citizen refers a request for the right of access to public information to the Urban Conservation Entity Eurovillas, located in the Community of Madrid, by virtue of which it is interested in a publication, an informative bulletin, which the Entity has edited and for the cost that it has entailed.

In the absence of a response, the citizen presents a complaint to the Council of Transparency and Good Governance. The Council considered in its resolution that the claim should be estimated in terms of the cost of the bulletin, to the extent that urban conservation entities receive both contributions from the owners and public funds from the City Council to which they belong, so that there is a public interest in the use of these funds.

In response to this resolution, the Urban Planning Entity filed a contentious-administrative appeal, which was submitted to the Council on June 19, 2020.
