SUMMARY

A citizen submits a request for the right of access to public information to Town Hall of Cabanillas del Campo (Castile-La Mancha), by virtue of which he is interested in the Dossiers of appointment, hiring of lawyer and prosecutor in that municipality from 2011 to this date.

In the absence of a response to his request, the interested party presents a complaint to the Council of Transparency and Good Governance on January 28, 2020.

The Council estimates the claim raised since it considers that the information requested is public information and, within this, it is information that should have been published by the city council in accordance with the provisions of article 8.1 a) of the Law 19/2013, of 9 December, on transparency, access to public information and good governance, referring to contracts.

Dissatisfied with the resolution issued by the Council, the City of Cabanillas del Campo filed a contentious-administrative appeal that has entry into the Council on July 23, 2020.
