SUMMARY

A citizen sends several requests for the right of access to public information to the City of Pastrana (Castilla-La Mancha), by virtue of which he is interested in the records of local festival expenses and urban planning records in that locality.

In the absence of a response to his request, the interested party presents a complaint to the Council of Transparency and Good Governance on January 12, 2020.

The Council estimates the claims raised as it considers that the information requested is public information in accordance with the provisions of Articles 12 and 13 of the Convention. Law 19/2013, of 9 December, on transparency, access to public information and good governance.

Dissatisfied with the resolution issued by the Council of Transparency, the City of Pastrana interposes contentious-administrative appeal that has entry into the Council on August 5, 2020.
