SUMMARY

A citizen refers a request for the right of access to public information to the Ministry of Health of the Principality of Asturias in which he requests to know numerous aspects of sanitary hygiene inspections carried out in leisure facilities and other public and private centers (schools, hospitals, etc.) in the years 2016 to 2019.

In the absence of a response to his request, the interested party presents a complaint to the Council of Transparency and Good Governance on February 11, 2020. The Council considered the complaint to be that the information requested was public information and that there was a public interest in its knowledge.

In response to this resolution, the Autonomous Community filed a contentious-administrative appeal, which was submitted to the Council on September 1, 2020.
