One citizen applied to the Ministry of Agriculture, Livestock and Sustainable Development. Directorate-General for Industry, Energy and Mines information on an approval dossier for a mining project.
In response to the refusal given by the administration, the claimant filed a complaint with the Council of Transparency and Good Governance (CTBG) in March 2024.
The CTBG estimates the claim and calls for a backlog of proceedings to grant a hearing to the company holding the mining file in accordance with the provisions of Article 19.3 LTAIBG, after which it resolves the request for access in accordance with the law.
The Junta de Extremadura lodged an administrative appeal with the Administrative Litigation Division of the National High Court, which entered the Council on November 8, 2024.
