A citizens’ association asked the City Council of Sant Antoni de Portmany (Illes Balears) for various information relating to various municipal works license files that was estimated by granting access to the municipal information sought, which led the affected third party to file a complaint with the Council of Transparency and Good Government in March 2024.
The Council dismisses the claim by considering that it is public information according to Law 19/2013, of December 9, on transparency, access to public information and good governance (LTAIBG), and ruling out the application of the legal limit provided in art. 14.1.h) of the LTAIBG.
In response to the decision issued by the CTBG, the entity sought lodges an administrative appeal, which entered the Council on January 15, 2025.
