The Council and the College of Registrars of Spain meet to explore ways of collaboration

The president of the Council of Transparency and Good Government, Concepción Campos Acuña, and the dean of the College of Registrars of Spain, Rosario Jiménez Rubio, held an institutional meeting on July 8 to analyze possible ways of collaboration between both entities, with the aim of strengthening access to public information and continuing to promote greater public confidence in institutions.

During the meeting they agreed on the importance of having secure, truthful and reliable sources of information, especially in a context marked by disinformation and the proliferation of false news. In this regard, they highlighted the value of both transparency portals and registry information as essential tools to ensure rigorous and verified access to data of public interest.
