The Advisory Commission on the Protection of the Informant is regulated by Law 2/2023, of 20 February, regulating the protection of persons who report on normative violations and the fight against corruption, and in the Statute of the Authority. It has 13 vowelsten of which represent different authorities and organisations with AIPI-related competences, including the Deputy Director General for Transparency and Good Governance, Gonzalo Gómez de Villalobos, two others are lawyers of recognized prestige, and another one represents the associations of the informants
The Advisory Committee on the Protection of the Informant is formally constituted

Yesterday took place the constitutive meeting of the Advisory Committee on the Protection of the Informant, a collegiate body with advisory functions to the president of the Independent Authority for the Protection of the Informant. Its functions include the preparation of reports on issues related to matters within its competence, as well as the formulation of proposals to contribute to the development of this work.
