Resolution appealed: R CTBG 1379/2025

In exercise of the right of access to public information, the CORPORATION RADIO TELEVISIÓN ESPAÑOLA CRTVE, S.A., was requested. S.M.E. access to information relating to the song selection process for the Eurovision Song Contest and, in particular, on the reception and evaluation of the song sent by the claimant.

The Council does not accept the claim under Article 24 LTAIBG, because of its premature nature, given that CRTVE still had a deadline to resolve until December 10, 2025, when the application was filed on November 10, 2025. To this end, it should be recalled that, in accordance with the provisions of Article 20.1 LTAIBG, the obligated subject has a maximum period of one month to resolve and notify its resolution from the receipt of the request by the body competent to resolve.
