ABSTRACT

A citizen submitted a request for access to information addressed to the Ministry of Finance and Public Function to accede to the resolution of the Office of Conflicts of Interest denying a former ambassador to Russia the exercise of private activity.

The Ministry denied access, on the understanding that such information affected personal data.

Once a complaint has been filed, the Transparency and Good Government Council partially considered it, since the information requested is related to a high position and appears publicly on the Internet and in the BOE, not requiring the prior consent of the owner of the data.
