Appeal against refusal of access to information on the administrative file for the granting of DTT licences
One company submitted a request for access to information addressed to the Ministry of Energy, Tourism and Digital Agenda to access a dossier on the granting of six Digital Terrestrial Television (DTT) licences.
The Ministry denied access, on the understanding that the information affected the equality of the parties in the judicial proceedings
When a complaint was filed, the Council for Transparency and Good Governance rejected it, since it is true that there are judicial procedures in progress in which the requested documentation is to be assessed and its public dissemination could harm the parties in the process.
