151. Denial of access to a person’s attorney’s title record
SUMMARY
A citizen submitted a request for access to the information addressed to the Ministry of Justice in order to have access to the contents of the record of the title of procurator of the courts in favour of a certain person.
The Ministry denied this request on the grounds that it is not public information.
The Council of Transparency and Good Governance rejected the complaint, as it is a request that does not fit the purpose of the LTAIBG, since it does not seek to control public activity, but to investigate the professional life of a person, which could, in addition, violate his right to personal data protection.
