SUMMARY

A citizen submitted a request for access to information addressed to the Inspectorate of Labour and Social Security of A Coruña, attached to the Ministry of Labour, Migration and Social Security (current Ministry of Labour and Social Economy) with the aim of obtaining a copy of the opinion of the Inspectorate of Labour of a double work accident that occurred in February 2006.

The Ministry denied the information, stating that the applicant does not have the status of interested party.

When a complaint was filed, the Council of Transparency and Good Governance considered it, since the right of access to the information set forth in the Transparency Law must be extended to all public information held by the subjects to whom the rule applies unless any of the limits provided in art. 14 or 15 of the Law that, on the other hand, have not been alleged and does not understand this Council of Transparency and Good Government that may be applicable.
