SUMMARY

A citizen asked the City Council of Gozón (Asturias) for statistical information on urban planning files processed in that locality. This request is not met to the full satisfaction of the interested party, so it presents two claims before the Council of Transparency and Good Government in December 2019.

The City Council invokes the existence of personal data and the abusive nature of the requests in order not to provide the requested information. The Transparency Council does not consider that the circumstances raised by the City Council concur and proceeds to estimate the claims.

Faced with the resolution issued by the Council, the City of Gozón interposes contentious-administrative appeal that has entry into the Council on September 17, 2020.
